Gathered over a lifetime
This collection brings together Ron’s travel journals, family photographs, ancestor biographies and chronologies. Some entries are long accounts; others are simply a photograph and a name.
In the authors’ own words
Stories preserve the wording of the original collection. Historical accounts may contain differences in dates, spellings or recollections. They are presented as personal and family records.
A clearer way to explore
Unfinished template text and sample blog posts have been omitted from the reading experience. All recovered source records remain in the preserved site backup. Photographs keep their original character, and captions use the available source descriptions.
Family and faith
Norwegian heritage and connections with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints appear throughout the family’s own accounts. This is a personal family website.
Type & photographs
Photographs are from the original Ron Running collection. Barlow by Jeremy Tribby and Cormorant Unicase by Christian Thalmann are used under the SIL Open Font License.
